The Brown County Shop With a Cop program is funded solely on donations and fundraisers. Fundraisers for 2025 will include our 5th Annual Golf Scramble and the 5th Annual Cops vs. Teachers Basketball Game. 

Golf Scramble

The annual golf scramble has been a fundraiser since 2021. This event will take place at the Salt Creek Golf Course on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. If you would like to register as an individual, team, or sponsor, please contact Captain Brian Shrader at 812-988-6655 ext. 1342.

Cops vs. Teachers Basketball Game

The annual Cops vs. Teachers basketball game has taken place since 2021. The game consists of law enforcement officers from the Brown County Sheriff's Office, Nashville Police Department, Indiana State Police, and Department of Natural Resources battling it out on the basketball court with teachers and staff members from the Brown County School Corporation. This event takes place at the Brown County High School. The 2025 date has not been set. Please check back for more details.
